MATRIX DEVELOPMENT GROUP EXECUTIVE NAMED PRESIDENT OF BUILDING OWNERS AND MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION IN NEW JERSEY
CRANBURY, NJ (January 29, 2008) – Matrix Development Group, one of the Northeast’s most respected real estate investment and development companies, is pleased to announce that Vice President of Asset Management Patrick J. Connelly has been named as the new president of the Building Owners and Management Association (BOMA) New Jersey chapter.
Connelly will assume his responsibilities as president beginning January 23rd. BOMA-NJ is an affiliate of BOMA International, the oldest and largest association of the office building industry with over 100 federated associations in the United States and around the world.
“It’s truly an honor to be a part of such a well-known and respected organization,” Connelly said. “I have had the pleasure of serving as a vice president for the past two years and I’m excited to expand my leadership role. BOMA New Jersey was founded in part to discuss the mutual issues and experiences of real estate professionals and I look forward to further advancing the mission in 2008.”
Since becoming a member in 1998, Connelly has served as vice president of the New Jersey chapter and as a board liaison to the Energy and Environmental Committee. He was appointed to the organization’s secretary in 2004 and served as the chairman of the Programs and Seminars Committee for two years. Connelly was appointed to the Executive Board in 2003. He remains active in BOMA International, serving as a member and chairman of several boards, including the Codes and Standards Committee.
