CRANBURY, NJ —Matrix Development Group has recently announced that in conjunction with its One Riverfront Center tenant, Edison Innovation Foundation, they’ve been awarded the 2006 Good Design Award by the Chicago Athenaeum. Good Design, one of the oldest and most prestigious design awards in the world, was bestowed upon Edison Innovation Foundation and Matrix for creating a unique conference center environment for tenants of One Riverfront Center and neighboring corporations.

The Good Design Award was founded in Chicago in 1950 by former MoMA curator Edgar Kaufmann, Jr. Multiple prizes are awarded in the following categories: electronics, transportation, furniture, graphics, public environment, textiles, and medical products. Annually, designers and manufacturers in more than 30 nations have been honored for their singular achievements in producing hallmarks of contemporary design.
