MATRIX'S DEVELOPMENT GROUP WINS
OFFICE BUILDING OF THE YEAR TOBY AWARD

CRANBURY, NJ - The Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) has bestowed upon Matrix Development Group the prestigious 2006 “The Office Building of the Year (TOBY) Award.”. The Legal Center, located at One Riverfront Plaza in Newark was recognized in the “250,000 - 499,000 Square Foot Building” category.

The TOBY awards were recently presented at the Annual Night at The Races awards dinner held at the Meadowlands Racetrack in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Presented by BOMA, the TOBY award is one of the most prestigious awards given throughout the real estate industry. It recognizes excellence in building management, operating efficiency, tenant retention, emergency planning and community impact.

One Riverfront Plaza, a 418,000 square foot 20-story office tower, is connected to Newark’s Pennsylvania Station and the Gateway Complex. This striking building with its elegant lobby was specifically designed to meet the needs of attorneys and other demanding professionals. It is home to some of New Jersey’s most prominent legal and professional firms. Patrick Connelly, Vice President of Property Management of Matrix Development Group, stated, “It is an honor to have the Legal Center recognized for the second time in three years by BOMA. The TOBY Award is a reflection of Matrix Development Group’s dedication to maintaining excellence in the projects within our portfolio as well as the superior service we provide to our tenants.” One Riverfront Plaza is now eligible to compete at the “Mid-Atlantic Conference” which includes local winners from Washington, DC to Connecticut and as far west as Pittsburgh.
